Did you see this? Oh, and can you believe it?
The nerve. The nerve of a former Baywatch bombshell to remove her make-up at an awards show. Doesn't she know that photographers will be there?
But how GREAT is this? Ok, more adjectives: how bold, scary, proud, DILLIGAF (email me for what that means), and honest is this? Pamela Anderson at the SAG Awards: we see you. And we like what we see.
What is the make-up we are all wearing to get us through a professional season? And how long will you let that season last? I wish companies would hire the right person for the right role and not force a square peg into a round hole. The eternal optimist in me says yes, we are getting there. And I get it: times change and the workforce is changing. But (and this is a big but, get ready): I do not think people will ever change from this one fact: we want to be valued for who we are, not who we could be.
So hiring managers: take note. Hire the right person for the right role. And quit shaming them for not doing what you knew they couldn't do. Three months after the hire, we will all be better for it.
Also, Pamela Anderson, well done. And Tommy Lee...you're cool too.
