This week I had the chance to go back to my alma mater and hear one of my classmates talk to current College of Design students at NC State. It was...AWESOME.
Did you know that smell is the strongest sense tied to memory? Things smelled the same. I was taken back to (cough) 25 years ago (cough) when I was at the Design School as an open-minded not a girl not yet a woman.
All this to say...your past is an indicator to your present. But it does NOT dictate your future. You can be and do anything you want to be and do. Change careers! Change them ten times. Love the experiences you have and crave MORE experiences.
But don't settle. Take chances. We don't settle. Who's with me? And if you aren't quite with me yet...maybe you will be.
