I'm a big library girl. Mostly because I am not an avid reader. The library saves me a lot of money on books I never finish. I have tried and tried and failed and failed at it. The books I have been best at reading are self-help, motivational, business books.

And lately...those three categories leave me more despondent than ever. More critical of myself than ever. And perhaps more skeptical than ever. It seems like everyone has the six-points to success to improve my life, my bank account, and my health.
Can I suggest a book for those of you as skeptical as me?
Here is a summary of said book: We should seek to find meaning through what we find to be important and only engage in values that we can control. Values (such as popularity) that are not under our control are, according to this book, 'bad values'.
And great news...it is at the library. Go get it if you can. And let's stop scrolling through social media watching everyone else's highlight reels.
